I'd like to make a suggestion, if that's okay...
I think the background is a little too blah. There needs to be just a tad more blue in the main forum section background. (Such as behind the header.)
Things just look a little too... grey. XD

Are you using phpbb2 or phpbb3?
It's because of custom CSS, whenever you use it on some forums, it won't let you edit squat.
It looks like you'll have to get a new pre-made theme from Hitskin.
You'll want to save the buttons and title bars (and header XD) so you can re-upload them afterwards.
If that doesn't work...

I hope you realize that it's not gonna work out too well unless you change to a normal theme then start working on it...
Trust me, with GiP the same thing happened, I tried everything, but it wouldn't change.
Until I changed over to a normal theme. XD
