The Official AdvertisingMania Rules!
January 2010 Edition

1. Please respect all users!
Do not be rude at another user, and do not flame with them. If you have something to comment on or ask about, please do so in the nicest way possible.

2. Please don't use cuss words, swear, or use other inappropriate language!
Whether you consider them offensive or not, cuss and swear words can offend some users as well as drive some guests away from a forum. Please do not use them, as these could result in a moderation action by the AdvertisingMania Staff.
This means NO foul language. PERIOD. Staff or otherwise.

3. Please do not spam the forum! This WILL lead to a ban!
Spam stands for:
Simply
Pointless
Annoying
Messages
Do not make posts that are completely off topic, and try to keep from posting one word posts, if at all possible.

4. Please talk nicely to and about users within the forum and Private Messaging system!
Please do not abuse the Private Messaging system within these forums. If you receive a rude or strange Private Message, please report the matter to the AdvertisingMania staff, and we will take action based on what occurred in the discussion(s).

5. No one word posts, please!
As stated in the Spam rule, one word posts are considered to be a type of spam. While sometimes not quite as serious, it can be annoying at times, so please refrain from doing so.

6. Please do not discuss hacking within these forums!
Discussing the hacking of this or any other forum listed within these forums (or discussion of hacking forums) will result in moderation action of the AdvertisingMania Staff.

7. Please do NOT ask to be staff!
You will be alerted if there are Staff Positions available.

8. Do not advertise in topics that are NOT for advertising!
For example, you cannot advertise your forum within the Coffee Lounge, as this location (among others) is not meant for advertising. If you are having trouble locating the proper place to advertise, please PM a staff member. We are more than willing to point you in the right direction.

9. Please do NOT double post!
If you have posted within a topic, you MUST wait until another user posts before you make another post within that same topic.

10. No necro-bumping very old threads!
If a topic is, for example, two months old, please do not post within it. More than most likely, however, our staff will lock all old topics that are no longer post-worthy.

If you see anyone breaking the rules, please report the matter to an Administrator or Moderator, including an exact quote of the problematic material, if possible.
